Ladies (and gentlemen), this was the hardest review to give as I am the biggest fan of all things Cover to Covers...(Namely, That Night With You..)
But this book...
Love Alexandrea Weis. Love her work. She's a great writer. This review isn't personal.
I just couldn't get into this book.
The writing was spot-on, but the plot fell short for me. I didn't want a lot of explanations, I wanted some action.
Lexie needs inspiration. Great. That first chapter should've been her in the bed, screaming her pleasure, and ending the scene with "oh wow, I have ideas now. I need to sleep with him again....ect..."
(That's just my opinion.)
This was a minor bump in the road. I still plan on buying future books by Alexandrea. (Especially, if Hayden is in them...That is in no way a hint, I'm just saying...)
Nothing but love.
This one just didn't do it for me.
