Friction by Sawyer Bennett
Friction by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Leary: a trailer-trash-turned-Prada-loving-lawyer, determined to win a case at whatever cost.
Reeve: a gullible, carefree attorney for the enemy firm. (Well, not enemy, but they aren't partners...)
What we have here folks is a full blown battle-of-the-sexes war. It has it all: teasing, innocent flirting, and a game of submit.
I would've given it 5 stars, but Leary tended to get on my nerves often. I can't stand a woman who feel's like she has something to prove. (As is the case here.)
Memorable moment: the bathroom scene (coughs, "FUCKIN NICE!").
Release date: October 27th. Just in time for Halloween!
NOTE: I'm not good at writing good reviews. (Hence, anything above a 3 star rating. They don't call me Shredder for nothing.) So I don't know how to praise someone. *SIGHS*
The writing style was great.
The characters had different voice, which is hard to get with 2 POV's.
The plot kept me entertained.
In the end: very pleased. Highly recommend.
